ROLE
Basically, this role is divided up into 3 main elements:
Recruitment - driving hiring processes nationally, running 5-15 jobs any one time, running resource planning meetings, building talent pipelines, head hunting, phone screens, running interview processes for stakeholders and closing out roles quickly, professionally and in line with both TPN and the Client's SOPs.
Human Resources - contracts, policies, probation and performance processes, shoulder to cry on, rousing on the naughty ones and rewarding high performers. Documenting all processes in new HRIS (you will assist in implementing).
Training & Development - working closely with RTO partner, developing training course descriptions to provide to management and employees, signing up employees to training courses, coordinating training schedules, exploring all hiring incentives and government rebate initiatives and reporting status updates to management.
YOU
HR person with strong recruitment abilities or Recruiter interested in HR processes.
Construction, Property or Trades sector experience (ideal but not essential).
Great stakeholder management, credible, reliable, disciplined.
High energy, people focused who works with a sense of urgency.
Take an instruction and go and run with it immediately or get asked a question and will either answer on the spot or go get the answer and respond quickly in detail.

We have just secured a new contract with a growing dynamic main contractor with a national presence. This is a full in-house People Operations Solution that will encompass HR, Talent Acquisition and Training & Development Coordination as per the above. At times you will be fully focused on recruitment and other times, it might be more balanced across system improvements, performance management or training coordination..
In this role you will sit in the client's office full time driving recruitment, onboarding and probation processes and helping further improve on the People Ops systems already in place. You will report to Adrian from TPN as the overseer of the delivery of our solution and also report to the owners of the building firm.
This is a diverse role that suits either a HR Coordinator/Manager who loves rolling the sleeves up smashing the phones delivering fast paced recruitment processes OR a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition person who is keen to do more than just recruitment. (i.e. the HR Coord function too).
Given what we do is a tad unique, we fully appreciate not many people will have experience/skills across all 3 main disciplines this solution will involve, however the gaps will be supported by Adrian Brown until the skill set has been developed. (especially the Training & Development Coordination and liaising with our Network Partner who is an RTO).
This is a great opportunity to wear a few hats and drive the People Operations division for a great main contractor who is growing and has a strong brand presence.
