The Role: As an RN in ICU, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. Working with a team of healthcare professionals, you will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and respond to emergencies, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regular updates to doctors, patients, and their families.
• Initiate and monitor treatments and medication dosages.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and alert the appropriate doctors as needed.
• Address patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation before transferring patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Develop and implement effective care plans.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and Critical care certification is required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and computer proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
