As an RN in the ER Unit, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical emergency room setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care by established policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergencies, ensuring the appropriate interventions are carried out.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Current, unrestricted RN license in your current province.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting (most recent experience).
- ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and CTAS Certifications.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Rate: $95-100/hr + 4% Vac Pay
$500 Referral fee; T&C applies
$250 for 3 months completion bonus
$500 for 6 months completion bonus
