As an LPN in Med/Surg ER, you will provide patient care in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with acute medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct rapid assessments to determine the urgency and severity of injuries or illnesses.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians or advanced practice providers.
• Monitor and document vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic tests with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the emergency healthcare team to develop and implement immediate care plans.
• Provide clear communication and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• 2 years of ER experience is required within the last 5 years.
• Current and active BLS is required.
• Current and active CTAS is required.
• Current and active ACLS is required.
• 1 year acute care (med/surg) experience is preferred.
• Connect Care trained (Rural nurse) module preferred.
