We are seeking an experienced and passionate Career Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with recruiting health care professionals and support them in navigating their career paths. You will help our external staff explore opportunities and develop strategies to achieve professional success. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the end-to-end recruitment process, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
• Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates. Conduct cold calls, and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of candidates as well as clients.
• Conduct professional assessment and verification for skills, experience, availability, compensation, willingness to travel/relocate and overall suitability for the position.
• Collaborate with clients to extend job offers for selected candidates.
• Negotiate offer terms and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the offer process.
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.
• Partner with relevant institutions to build a talent base and drive recruitment processes, when necessary.

Requirements:

• Post secondary education in Human Resources OR relevant field.
• 1-3 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry as an Agency or In-house Recruiter or Sourcing Specialist is an asset.
• Experience in screening and evaluating candidates through various methods (phone interviewing, video interviewing etc.)
• Familiarity with job portals such as Indeed, and LinkedIn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent technical proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good time management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously.
• Organized, autonomous and reliable.
