Job Title: Senior Interior Designer – Retail Specialist
Location: West London (Putney area)
Work Type: Studio based, not hybrid.
Software: Vectorworks and C4D (required)
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 (Dependent on experience.)
 
Overview:
A respected West London based design studio is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Interior Designer with extensive retail experience. The ideal candidate is expected to be proficient in both Vectorworks and Cinema 4D, and to be comfortable working from the studio in the Putney area. This role calls for someone who appreciates traditional design methods as much as modern techniques, and who can bring a blend of creativity, precision, and time-honoured craftsmanship to every project.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Spearhead innovative interior design projects tailored for the retail sector, ensuring that each concept is both aesthetically appealing and functionally sound.
• Concept to Completion: Oversee projects from the initial concept sketches through to detailed designs and final presentations.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilise Vectorworks and Cinema 4D to create detailed plans and compelling 3D visualisations that bring ideas to life.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated team of designers and engage with clients to fully understand their vision and requirements.
• Project Management: Ensure all projects adhere to deadlines, budgets, and the studio’s high-quality standards.

• Demonstrable experience in retail interior design, with a strong portfolio to match.
• High proficiency in Vectorworks and Cinema 4D is essential.
• A blend of creative flair and practical design skills, with a respect for traditional methods.
• Must be able to commit to a studio-based role and be willing to commute to the Putney area.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
