Architectural Technician – Housing
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Location: UK-based, Hybrid/Remote Role
Software: Expert AutoCAD user
Key Focus: Residential Housing Projects
 
Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technician to join an architectural practice specialising in housing projects. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid or remote working, making it ideal for candidates based anywhere in the UK. (Must be UK Based, preferably London.)
 
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality residential housing designs.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD to meet project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with current UK Building Regulations and liaise with Building Control to secure necessary approvals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology, applying best practices to your work.

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong portfolio of housing projects.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, with the ability to produce detailed and accurate technical drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and experience liaising with Building Control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Must be UK-based with full right to work in the UK.
