Salary:  £80,000 to £90,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are working with a leading independent creative agency to find an exceptional Strategy Director to join their senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of high-profile projects and lead on brand, innovation, and customer experience creation.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

• Lead client accounts and collaborate with internal teams to shape brand strategies, ecosystems, and customer experiences.
• Define long-term visions for brands and identify new growth and revenue opportunities aligned with customer needs.
• Manage multiple strategic projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that exceed expectations.

Client Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through bespoke brand and innovation strategies.
• Build strong, lasting relationships and position the agency as a leader in brand experience creation.
• Lead co-creation sessions with clients and internal teams, driving alignment and innovation.

Research and Insights

• Oversee research projects and teams to ensure data-driven insights inform strategy development.
• Deliver purposeful and commercially viable brand experience strategies that align with market trends and client goals.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide strategy teams, providing feedback to enhance project outcomes and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative culture across teams and markets.
• Ensure the strategic approach and toolkit are consistently understood and applied across all projects.

Business Growth

• Play a key role in driving agency revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Contribute to the agency’s thought leadership and pitch-winning strategies.
• Use proprietary tools and methods to demonstrate the agency’s unique value proposition.

We’re seeking a visionary leader with a proven track record in retail and hospitality branding and customer experience strategy. You’ll be passionate about creating big ideas with purpose and longevity, and have a strong background in sectors such as food, beauty, health and wellbeing, lifestyle/fashion, entertainment, and placemaking.
 
Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in branding, innovation, and customer experience strategy.
• Extensive knowledge of retail and hospitality sectors and a strong understanding of consumer trends.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present compelling ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.
