We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for an Dock Clerk in Peterborough, ON

Start Date: Immediately
Shift: Days
Location: Peterborough, ON
Rate: $21/hr 

Job Responsibilities:

• Route and coordinate deliveries using company systems and procedures 
• Operate a forklift safely when required 
• Complete manifesting and shipment documentation accurately 
• Conduct POD audits to ensure delivery records are complete and accurate 
• Perform data entry and maintain transportation records 
• Scan, image, sort, and organize shipping paperwork and documents 
• Assist with dock operations and provide general dock support
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation 
• Work with the operations team to support daily transportation activities 
• Complete other related administrative and operational tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Valid forklift license 
• Minimum 2 years experience operating a forklift
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a focus on accuracy.
• Must have previous experience in administrative, invoicing, or billing roles in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
