Salary: $60,000-$65,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Afternoon Shift (12:00 PM start)

A reputable transportation and logistics company in Mississauga is seeking a skilled LTL & Line Haul Dispatcher to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing both city and line haul operations in a busy, performance driven environment. 

Dispatcher Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate 40-50 city and line haul drivers each day
• Plan, assign, and manage LTL and line haul shipments
• Optimize routes, productivity, utilization, and load capacity
• Relay dispatch instructions through phone, radio, and mobile devices 
• Track deliveries and proactively address service or operational concerns
• Coordinate fleet and vehicle maintenance as required
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and complete required documentation 
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions 
• Foster positive working relationships with drivers and customers 

Dispatcher Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of transportation dispatch experience (LTL / Line Haul strongly preferred)
• Proven experience dispatching/coordinating city drivers and line haul drivers
• Strong computer skills and accurate data entry
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume dispatch environment
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Results-driven, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Clean criminal background check required
