We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for an LTL and Line Haul Dispatcher in Mississauga, ON
Start Date: Immediately
Shift: Rotating Mornings, Afternoons, Nights - Must be flexible
Location: Mississauga
Rate: $30-$32/hr
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day communications via phone and/or handheld device, with fleet of drivers
- Effectively communicate load instructions and ensure they are carried out
- Efficiently delegate loads to maximize time and load factor
- Manage service concerns as required
- Coordinate maintenance of fleet vehicles
- Assist with generating reports and other administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation and dispatch
- Good computer skills with accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
- Excellent time management with high ability to multitask
- Superior customer service and communication skills
- Dependable to work independently with no supervision
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritized in a fast paced environment
- 'Can-Do' attitude with a passion to drive results
- Clean criminal background required
