We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for a Dock Supervisor in Mississauga, ON

Start Date: May 2025 - September 2025
Shift: Flexibility required for all shifts, including Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings
Location: Tomken Rd. & Eglinton Ave. E
Rate: $65,000

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing dock operations and leading a team on a busy cross-dock
• Ensuring safety and standard operating rules are followed
• Assisting with loading LTL for city deliveries and unloading, and staging pick-ups
• Review leftover bills and assign them to existing routes or create new ones as needed
• Ensure all outstanding shipments are properly routed for timely delivery
• Effectively communicating with other teams and departments to ensure transport operations continue smoothly
• Supervise roughly 15-20 associates
• Develop and coordinate efficient routes for transport
• Awareness of road and weather conditions to assist drivers
• Completing records of all route plans and maps
• Efficiently delegate loads to maximize time and load factor

• 2 years or more of experience in a leadership role
• Must have previous experience working on a cross-dock
• Flexibility to cover shifts periodically
• Good communication
• Clean criminal background required
