We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator with Admin Duties in Barrie, ON

Start Date: Immediately 
Shift: 11:30 am Start
Location: Hwy 400 and Duckworth St
Rate: $21/hr

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklift to assist with the movement of freight in the warehouse
• Forklift operator must load and unload trailers
• Use scanning tool and software to track shipments and complete manifests
• Ensure accurate inventory movement and documentation
• Effectively communicating with team to ensure transport operations continues smoothly
• Forklift operator must be able to do some office work such as responding to emails, answering phone calls and other general administrative duties

• 1 year of forklift experience with electric/propane counterbalance
• Must have previous experience in logistics warehouse
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Basic computer skills (email, scanning, data entry, manifesting)Good computer skills
• Dependable to work independently with no supervision
• Clean criminal background required
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritized in a fast paced environment
