We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for a Transportation Clerk in Mississauga, ON

Start Date: Immediately 
Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Location: Mississauga (Dixie and Matheson)
Rate: $22 / hour 

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage gate operations, including checking in/out trucks and verifying documentation
- Check in/out drivers and provide them with their paperwork
- Assist dispatch with driver communication and route updates
- Inspect and scan incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory records on the dock (safety shoes required)
- Identify freight bills and special delivery instructions
- Create and input manifest information into system
- Coordinator will be reviewing invoices and ensure accuracy
- Customer service support

Job Requirements:

- Previous experience in Transportation environment preferred
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills via phone/email
- Ability to self motivate and work well in a team
- Willingness to support team wherever needed
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work in fast paced environment
