About the Role
SCEE Electrical is seeking experienced HSE Advisors to join our team for upcoming shutdowns across BHP and Rio Tinto operations in the Pilbara. In this role, you will help promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and project requirements. We are looking for proactive, safety-focused professionals who can support site teams and deliver positive safety outcomes in a fast-paced shutdown environment.
In addition, some of your key tasks will include:
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs across various project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Provide HSE training and support to all levels of staff and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Prepare and maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
- Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness across all project sites.

About You
To be successful in this position, you will bring proven experience as a HSE Advisor within the heavy construction industry in shutdown environments. You will be a proactive and safety-focused professional with the ability to engage and influence work crews, supervisors, and stakeholders to achieve positive safety outcomes.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work, Health & Safety
- A high level of commitment to safety.
- Construction White Card
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate desired
- Strong knowledge of current HSE legislation, standards and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a high functioning team.
