We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Leading Hand to support our team in a hands-on role.
The position is ideal for someone with proven experience in a similar role and environment.

Scope of work: Installation of repeater stations from Newman to Port Hedland. Completing installation of cable ladder and cables, termination of cables, and testing installation

• February 2026 start with ongoing works around Newman/Port Hedland operations.

• Training provided, if required, for any mandatory certifications.

Your role will include:

• Oversee a small crew of 12 workers working under a site supervisor
• Managing productivity of the site team and ensuring teams are working safely with correct documentation both safety and drawings
• This is a working, hands-on position requiring the successful candidate to actively perform standard electrical installation duties
• Working on minor projects and anything else as directed

Key requirements for this project are: 

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams
• Strong awareness of safety procedures, effective communicator and a team player
• Demonstrated experience in mining, construction, or heavy industrial electrical projects
• Current unrestricted WA Electrical License
• Hold a valid WA Driver's License
• CPR LVR Certificate (within 1 year)
• Construction White Card
• HRWL – EWP
• Working at Heights
• Hold Australian Working Rights
• WAIO Arc Flash Hazard and PPE /WAIO Working with Low Voltage (desirable)
