About the Role
We are looking for experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our team at Boddington Gold Mine on an 8:6 DIDO roster from Perth. As an Electrical Supervisor with us you will be responsible for ensuring all of the electrical works for the project are carried out in accordance with drawings, scope of works, company standards and specifications, Australian Standards and to the project schedule.
In addition, some of your key tasks will include;
- Ensuring all personnel maintain safe systems of work.
- Planning activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies.
- Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract.
- Understanding of risk management, quality assurance and control.
- Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions.
- Participate in Quality Assurance audits.
- Liaise with client and contractor representatives.
- Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to.
About You To be successful in this position you will have at least 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the heavy construction industry and hold your WA electrical licence. You will have well developed leadership skills as well as strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- A high level of commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Well-developed numeracy and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a high functioning team.
- You must hold a white Card and valid driver’s licence
