About the Role:
Are you an experienced in clinical management and seeking a fulfilling career move? Forest Lake Lodge presents an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. The typical work hours are 8am – 4:06pm, Monday to Friday, with participation in an on-call schedule shared among a dedicated team of 4.
Under the guidance of the Clinical Operations Manager and General Manager overseeing your team of RN's, ENs and PCWs, you will play a vital role in providing best-practice care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee care planning and ensure a continuum of care.
• Provide training, mentoring, and support to staff and student placements.
• Act as the main point of contact for family inquiries.
• Contribute to quality assurance and risk management programs.
• Maintain excellent records and systems for compliance.
• Abide by the Code of Conduct and stay up to date with training.
• Provide best practice care for residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Nursing Degree with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' clinical management experience in residential aged care.
• Comprehensive understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Competence in clinical governance and AN-ACC.
• Experience with difficult behaviour and skills in wound management, medication administration, continence, and/or palliative care.
• Proficiency in clinical management systems (ideally Person-Centred Software) and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of reporting requirements within a service delivery framework.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a highly regulated and complex environment.
• Reliable and committed to Forest Lake Lodge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Energetic, dynamic, with effective time management skills.
