Established in 2000, Forest Lake Lodge is a privately owned and operated residential aged care home, with 140 residents, located in Forest Lake. Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to lead learning and development strategies and outcomes for clinical care team members across Forest Lake Lodge relevant to care delivery needs. This position is accountable for coordinating and delivering a range of clinical education and training activities.
This is a fixed term (1 year) part time (2 days per week) role.
Prorata $110K salary.

Qualifications Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Qualifications in training, adult education or clinical education. (i.e. Cert IV in Training and Assessment) (desirable)
Skills and Experience Previous experienced gained in a similar role; aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
Demonstrated experience in leading education projects/programs.
Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, including active-reflective listening and empathy.
Skills in encouraging the development of others.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate student placements and graduate nurse programs.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluation education sessions/workshops and teach a range of topics.
Advanced communication and writing skills including writing student reports and education project reports.
Previous experience in resource development, including the ability to translate complex medical information into simple language resources
Advanced computer skills in use of Microsoft products (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel)
Proven Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage time accordingly.
Ability to work autonomously and across multiple teams.
