Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to support and strengthen their compliance function, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance policies.
• Track regulatory updates and industry changes, ensuring timely revisions to internal procedures.
• Lead or support compliance monitoring and testing activities to assess control effectiveness.
• Assist internal and external audits by preparing documentation and coordinating responses.
• Oversee KYC, risk assessments, due diligence, AML, and UBO-related processes.
• Uphold proper compliance practices, including committee procedures and delegation of authority.
• Identify potential compliance risks and escalate significant issues with recommended mitigation strategies.
• Support and deliver compliance training programs to enhance awareness and ethical conduct across the organization.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the line manager as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; ACAMS certification preferred or highly advantageous.
• Proven relevant experience in compliance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AML laws, regulations, and best practices.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
