Our client, a leading organization in the financial services and supply chain finance domain, is seeking a Senior Officer – API Integration Developer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level integrations that enable secure and efficient data exchange between internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• API Development & Integration: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs to integrate with external partners—including buyers, funders, and suppliers—and connect external systems with the company’s supply chain finance or Tawrid platform.
• Data Transformation: Create robust data mapping and transformation workflows to convert and validate XML, JSON, and EDI data formats into internal structures. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and error handling across all integrations.
• Oracle API Management & ESB: Manage and optimize Oracle API Gateway and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to orchestrate workflows, secure data transfer, and ensure scalability and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor API security protocols (OAuth2, TLS) while ensuring full compliance with SAMA, NCA, and PDPL regulations. Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities through proactive monitoring and timely patching.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams (IT, finance, product) and external partners to understand technical requirements and ensure smooth, timely API integrations. Provide technical support and resolve issues promptly.
• Documentation & Governance: Prepare and maintain detailed API documentation, including integration guides, data dictionaries, and troubleshooting procedures. Follow best practices for API version control and lifecycle management.
• System Reliability & Continuity:
  
  • Manage availability and capacity planning to ensure systems are scalable and reliable.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies for critical business applications on public cloud platforms.
  • Oversee JBOSS application server and middleware environments to maintain optimal performance.
• Process Excellence:
  
  • Execute work in alignment with approved policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to new team members and uphold consistent operational quality.
  • Follow up on escalated issues to ensure efficient and timely closure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Certifications: ITIL and/or PMP certifications are an advantage.
• Experience: 5–6 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or a similar technical integration domain.
• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Programming: Proficient in Java, Python, or Node.js for API development.
  • API Technologies: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and modern API design standards.
  • Database: Working knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Middleware: Experience managing Oracle API Gateway, ESB, and JBOSS environments.
• Core Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities; strong commitment to quality, documentation, and delivery.
