Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage client relationships, oversee service delivery, and ensure client satisfaction. The role requires a balance of technical accounting/tax knowledge, relationship management skills, and the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their tax and accounting needs are consistently met.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients while maintaining a high level of service quality.
• Coordinate with internal teams (tax, accounting, compliance, advisory) to deliver seamless client solutions.
• Understand client business needs and proactively recommend additional services that add value.
• Manage client onboarding processes and ensure smooth handovers to service delivery teams.
• Monitor client accounts to ensure deadlines, compliance requirements, and service standards are met.
• Prepare and present account reviews, financial updates, and service performance reports.
• Handle client escalations with professionalism and resolve issues effectively.
• Stay updated on tax laws, accounting standards, and industry best practices to provide relevant guidance.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is an advantage).
• 3–5 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or relationship management within the tax and accounting industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial advisory services.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a client-first mindset.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
