Our client is seeking a UAE National Compliance Officer to join their team and play a vital role in ensuring that all business operations and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to uphold compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure adherence to UAE regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Conduct compliance reviews, assessments, and internal audits to identify potential risks.
• Support the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, regulatory filings, and risk assessments.
• Report compliance findings and risks to management with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders when required.
• Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization’s operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a related function (preferably within the UAE).
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and corporate governance practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
• UAE National is mandatory for this role.
