Our client is seeking a Senior Executive – General Ledger to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on expertise in GL functions and a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger accounts in a timely and accurate manner
• Post journal entries and ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting standards
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and analysis to support management decision-making
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all GL transactions
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and financial policies
• Liaise with internal departments and external auditors as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven hands-on experience in General Ledger functions
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Preferably from a real estate or contracting background
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
