Our client is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team and ensure robust compliance with evolving legal, regulatory, and industry requirements. This role plays a vital part in upholding the organization’s ethical standards and fostering a strong compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure the organization’s adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance policies.
• Stay current on relevant regulatory changes and industry standards, updating internal policies and procedures accordingly.
• Lead or support periodic compliance monitoring and testing activities to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits through documentation preparation, response coordination, and action plan implementation.
• Oversee KYC, risk assessment, due diligence, AML, and UBO compliance procedures.
• Maintain best practices in compliance governance, including committee protocols and delegation of authority.
• Identify potential compliance risks or gaps and escalate significant issues with actionable mitigation strategies.
• Deliver and support compliance training programs to ensure regulatory awareness and ethical conduct across departments.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the line manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required; ACAMS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant compliance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and ethical judgment.
• Strong communication and risk analysis skills.
• Fluent in English; any second language is a plus.
