Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee financial strategy, operations, and governance across their development projects. This is a key leadership role for a results-driven professional with deep industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to align financial management with the company’s long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy, planning, and management of the company’s property development portfolio.
• Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and risk management.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to drive growth, profitability, and sustainable business performance.
• Manage capital structuring, financing, and investor relations to support large-scale development projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and financial reporting obligations.
• Evaluate project feasibility, investment opportunities, and ROI to support decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
• Provide strategic insights on market trends, economic conditions, and financial risks impacting property development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, ACA, or CFA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years at a senior level within property development or real estate.
• Proven track record in capital raising, financial structuring, and project financing for large-scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of regional real estate markets, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at board level.
• Strategic financial leadership and commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
