Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations across multiple group entities. The ideal candidate will bring deep accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience working with cloud-based accounting systems. This role requires excellent attention to detail, proactive financial oversight, and alignment with company values and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold and work in accordance with CBD’s core values in all financial activities.
• Accurately enter all financial transactions into accounting systems including Xero and Zoho Books.
• Maintain financial records in compliance with international accounting standards, company policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and submit monthly bank reconciliation reports for all CBD Group companies.
• Ensure general ledger (GL) reconciliations are up to date, with no outstanding or negative company balances.
• Prepare quarterly VAT reports for all group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain updated financial data in the CRM system, including Red Notice Register, annual fees, and contact records.
• Ensure the accuracy of all outgoing invoices—particularly for local services, retained services, and nominee offerings—and ensure they are approved and sent to clients on time.
• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections.
• Record supplier bills and manage accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
• Track company expenses, identify and discuss variances, and ensure proper financial recording.
• Prepare full accounts up to trial balance, and assist in audits for KSA and other CBD Group entities.
• Ensure proper representation of corporate tax in the company’s financial records and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve finance-related concerns and ensure alignment on deliverables.
• Identify and suggest new revenue opportunities by promoting corporate services (e.g., VAT registration, payroll setup) to onboarding or existing clients.
• Apply fiduciary and compliance knowledge related to operating businesses in the GCC region.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-company or corporate services environment.
• Hands-on experience with Xero, Zoho Books, and CRM systems.
• Solid understanding of international accounting standards, UAE VAT regulations, and corporate tax laws.
• Familiarity with audit processes and financial reporting for multiple jurisdictions, especially within the GCC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
