Our client, a leading Free Zone authority in the UAE, is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee and manage AML/CTF frameworks, inspections, and regulatory controls. This is a high-impact role for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with authorities and internal teams to ensure compliance across all operational aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement AML/CTF policies, procedures, and control systems.
• Regularly assess and enhance compliance frameworks to align with current laws and regulations.
• Act as the key representative with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA), Financial Intelligence Units (FIU), and other regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious activity reports and decide on appropriate actions.
• Manage inspection processes, review findings, and ensure corrective action plans are communicated and implemented.
• Deliver ongoing training programs to staff on AML/CTF and inspection procedures.
• Review and approve company registrations, renewals, and amendments in line with compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree desirable.
• ACAMS certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of AML laws, Economic Substance Regulation, and inspection frameworks.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Fluent in English; a second language is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
