FILTEC is the most successful privately owned Water Treatment Solutions business in New Zealand, with our newest two offices here in Australia. As recent market entrant here in Australia, we are already building a strong reputation through our proven track record.  (FILTEC ANZ group has experienced double digit year on year growth for over three decades).

The Australian business accounts for about 30% of our revenue and 15% of our headcount here in ANZ. Over the past 3 years we have laid the foundations for a successful project delivery business. Now we’re ready to resource the team for growth! We have multiple vacancies in VIC & QLD within the Project team. We have transformed from an equipment Sales and Service company; into a business also offering design and construct solutions.

FILTEC’s Project Team contains five dynamic engineers who have delivered $7m of projects last year with a pipeline of over $20m for FY27. Looking forward FILTEC has a pipeline of stimulating and varied projects with water corporations, council and industrial businesses.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

we're experts in water treatment - we want more civil & structural experience in the team!

We need a site manager living (or willing to relocate to) Bendigo to be the main pair of ‘boots on the ground’ 

Your first project with us is a multi-million dollar upgrade to key utilities infrastructure for Victorians. We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record with civil and structural construction, eager to go beyond the structure – once the building is up – our expertise kick in = mechanical & electrical equipment installation.

• On-site: acts as the ‘go to person’ our client and team can trust for Site Supervision. ensuring safe, efficient, and well recorded delivery of construction works.
• Off-site, (making the most of our time off peak) -  a variety of technical Engineering, assisting with design, procurement, cost control, and project documentation.
  

This role is primed to level up. Your role will transform into the ideal Project delivery career, leading the full project lifecycle from scope to commissioning.

  
SUCCESS PROFILE

1) Passion & Experience on site in Project Delivery, specifically Construction
2) Ambition to join hands on engineering company as the expert in site leadership - rather than ordinary big civil or structural contractor
3) experience with civil and/or structural building sites
4) A background in Water Treatment is beneficial but not essential – any other ‘Engineer, Procure, Install’ OR ‘Design &Construct’ experience is valued
