Focus 5 Recruitment are partnering with an ambitious, high-growth business to recruit a Head of Marketing & Growth.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the marketing and growth strategy across two established and rapidly expanding brands.
One brand is a market-leading consumer business with exciting product launches planned over the coming year. The other is an ambitious multi-site healthcare group with significant expansion plans and a clear vision for growth.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for developing and executing the commercial marketing strategy across both brands, with accountability for customer acquisition, revenue growth, market share and overall marketing performance.
This is far more than a traditional marketing leadership role. We're looking for someone who sees marketing as a growth engine, understands the commercial drivers behind business performance and wants genuine ownership of ambitious growth targets.
The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of both businesses, working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, drive growth and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
You'll own the strategy behind customer acquisition, lead generation, brand growth and revenue performance, ensuring marketing investment translates into tangible business results.
This role combines strategic leadership, commercial decision-making, growth ownership and operational excellence.
Success will be measured not simply by marketing outputs, but by your ability to increase customer acquisition, grow revenue, improve marketing efficiency and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities - Commercial Growth & Revenue Ownership
- Own growth, customer acquisition and revenue targets across both brands
- Develop and execute strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth
- Identify opportunities to increase market share, customer value and profitability
- Build scalable lead generation and customer acquisition programmes
- Analyse customer behaviour, conversion funnels and performance data to identify growth opportunities
- Improve marketing efficiency, conversion rates and return on investment across all channels
- Work closely with senior leadership to align marketing strategy with wider commercial objectives
Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Define and deliver the overall marketing and growth strategy across both brands
- Lead brand positioning, proposition development and go-to-market activity
- Support new product launches, expansion plans and commercial initiatives
- Ensure both brands continue to strengthen their position within competitive markets
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging growth opportunities
Marketing Performance & Demand Generation
- Own multi-channel customer acquisition activity across paid media, CRM, content, social and digital channels
- Develop performance frameworks and reporting dashboards that provide clear commercial insight
- Ensure marketing activity is aligned to acquisition, conversion and revenue objectives
- Manage agency relationships and external marketing partners to maximise performance
Marketing Operations & Leadership
- Create the structure, processes and accountability required to support continued growth
- Oversee campaign planning, execution and optimisation
- Manage budgets and resource allocation to maximise commercial return
- Introduce efficiencies through technology, automation and AI-driven tools
- Build a culture of performance, accountability and continuous improvement
Strategic Leadership
- Act as a key member of the senior leadership team
- Provide commercial insight and recommendations to support business decision-making
- Influence business strategy through customer, market and performance data
- Help shape the next stage of growth across both brands
About You We're looking for an experienced marketing and growth leader who is motivated by commercial success and measurable outcomes.
You'll have a proven track record of delivering growth, increasing customer acquisition and generating meaningful revenue impact through marketing strategy and execution.
You'll likely bring:
- Significant experience in a senior marketing, growth or commercial leadership role
- A track record of driving customer acquisition, revenue growth and market share gains
- Strong commercial acumen and experience working against growth targets and business KPIs
- Experience developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing strategies
- A data-driven approach and strong analytical capability
- Experience managing agencies, budgets and external partners
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within a high-growth, entrepreneurial or scale-up environment
- Confidence using AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and performance
- The ambition, accountability and drive to own growth outcomes and business performance
