Trader – Dry Bulk Commodities
Location: Singapore

Our client, an established international trading organisation, is looking to appoint a Trader – Dry Bulk Commodities to join its Singapore team.
This role would suit a commercially minded professional with experience in commodity trading, dry bulk, shipping or international trade who is keen to take on broader trading responsibilities within a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and develop existing trading activities and customer relationships
• Identify new commercial and trading opportunities across assigned markets
• Participate in pricing, negotiations and commercial agreements
• Monitor market developments, supply and demand, freight movements and competitor activity
• Coordinate closely with operations, shipping and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of trades
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners
• Conduct commercial and market analysis to support trading decisions
• Contribute to the continued growth of the business across the region

Requirements

• Relevant experience within dry bulk commodities, physical trading, shipping or international trade
• Strong commercial awareness and interest in developing further within commodity trading
• Good understanding of international trade and commercial negotiations
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills
• Analytical, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
• Able to work independently while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders
