Investment Manager - S&P Investment

On behalf of our client, an international shipping and commodities company, we are looking for an Investment Manager with solid experience in vessel sale & purchase and financial modelling. The role sits within a small, focused team and covers the full investment cycle — from sourcing deals to execution and follow-up on fleet performance.
  
What you’ll do

• Handle vessel acquisitions and disposals across dry bulk, tanker, and container markets
• Build and update cash flow and valuation models for investment decisions
• Keep track of freight markets, asset values, and broader market trends
• Work closely with brokers, owners, and other industry players to secure opportunities
• Oversee technical, commercial, and legal due diligence with internal and external teams
• Support management with investment papers, presentations, and portfolio reviews

What we’re looking for

• 4–5 years’ relevant experience from ship owning, broking, private equity, or investment roles
• A proven background in S&P transactions
• Strong financial modelling skills (Excel)
• Good understanding of shipping markets and asset values
• Strong network among international brokers and owners
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Shipping, or similar (Master’s an advantage)
