Head of Global Freight Operations - Tankers

The Role
They are looking for a Head of Global Freight Operations to take responsibility for the operations of a newer and growing tanker pool. This role is about taking ownership of the development process and driving it forward. The right person will be dynamic, energetic, and ready to step up - someone who can manage vessels and clients effectively while building and leading a strong operations team.
 
Key Responsibilities

1. Lead global operations for a newer and growing tanker pool
2. Manage day-to-day operations of vessels in the pool
3. Develop processes and structure to improve efficiency and performance
4. Build, guide, and grow an operations team across locations
5. Be the main point of contact for clients and partners, handling relationships professionally
6. Oversee pool performance, reporting, and compliance
7. Prepare and deliver presentations to management and external stakeholders
8. Work closely with freight trading colleagues to support commercial goals

 
What They're Looking For

• Solid background in tanker vessel operations (senior operator, team lead, or regional manager level)
• Experience managing clients and vessels in a tanker pool is a strong advantage
• Strong communication skills - confident, well-spoken, and able to present clearly
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a mindset of ownership
• Experience with IMOS is ideal, but similar software is also fine
• Dynamic and energetic personality - able to drive development and motivate a team
• Ideally based in Singapore, Dubai, or Copenhagen
