Freight Trading Manager - Tankers
Singapore, Copenhagen, or Dubai (relocation to Dubai within 2 years preferred)

The Role
They are hiring a Freight Trading Manager to focus on product tanker freight. This role is for someone who wants more than just a chair - it's for a trader ready to take responsibility, build a book, and work closely with like-minded colleagues who have the same entrepreneurial mindset.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a freight trading portfolio focused on product tankers
• Negotiate and execute chartering deals (time/voyage charters, COAs)
• Spot opportunities and turn them into profitable trades
• Manage P&L and risk in line with the group's overall strategy
• Work closely with trading, operations, and risk teams
• Contribute to the growth and direction of the freight desk

 
What They're Looking For

• 7+ years in tanker freight trading or senior chartering, ideally in product tankers
• Solid track record of generating and managing profitable books
• Entrepreneurial mindset - wants to build, not just maintain
• Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills
• Good network across owners, brokers, and charterers
• Open to relocating to Dubai within two years
