The Role 

As a Registered Nurse at Nanyima, you will deliver safe, high‑quality clinical care during weekday night shifts in our 51‑bed residential aged care home. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll oversee clinical needs, respond to changes in resident conditions, administer medications, and support care staff to ensure continuity of care and resident safety. This Casual role is well suited to an experienced RN who values autonomy, strong clinical judgement, and meaningful relationships with residents.

What you will do 
 
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring: 

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives 
• Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans 
• Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers 
• Clinical care, including wound management, palliative care, and medication management 
• Liaison with medical and allied health care staff 
• Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards 
• Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach 

Who are you and what will you bring?  

• AHPRA Registration 
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse 
• Experience in providing clinical care in the aged care sector 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Passion for delivering a person-centered approach to care 
• NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
