We’re seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager to join our welcoming team at PresCare Yaralla Place, located in the heart of historic Maryborough and just a short drive from Queensland’s beautiful beaches and Hervey Bay.
  
You’ll lead a close-knit team supporting 96 residents in a warm, homelike environment where you can build genuine relationships with residents, their families and your team. About the Role: This is a rewarding leadership opportunity where you’ll oversee the overall management and success of the service, ensuring our residents receive safe, high-quality care while supporting and developing your team, managing resources and driving strong operational performance. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive environment for both residents and employees and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for.
  
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, inspiring and developing a committed care and support team, fostering accountability, teamwork and a positive workplace culture
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residential aged care service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and a positive resident experience
• Driving a culture of respect, compassion, safety and continuous improvement across the service
• Leading care governance, quality and compliance, ensuring the service meets legislative requirements, aged care standards and organisational expectations
• Supporting workforce planning and recruitment, ensuring the service is appropriately staffed with the right people and skills to meet resident needs
• Managing financial performance and operational efficiency, including budgets, resources and service outcomes
• Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, health professionals and the wider community
• Using data, feedback and operational insights to identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive outcomes across the service

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• A minimum of 5 years’ management experience in Residential Aged Care
• A proven ability to balance care, compliance, and commercial outcomes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to support, develop, and inspire your team
• An understanding of HR and recruitment processes, with the ability to effectively manage employee concerns, grievances and workplace issues
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for person-centred aged care

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Full working rights in Australia
