Apollo Care is seeking a Learning & Development Educator to join our team in a newly created role designed to support the growth, confidence and capability of our workforce across residential aged care, home care and support services. About the Role Reporting to the Residential Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting learning and development initiatives across the organisation. You will design, coordinate, facilitate and evaluate education programs that strengthen employee capability, compliance and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging face-to-face, virtual and workplace-based training
- Supporting clinical and non-clinical workforce capability development
- Facilitating mandatory education and role-specific training programs
- Providing coaching, mentoring and competency-based support to employees
- Developing and maintaining learning resources and training materials
- Supporting orientation, induction and onboarding programs
- Assisting with training compliance, audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Partnering with leaders to identify workforce development needs and learning opportunities.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or relevant Allied Health registration
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent), or working towards completion
- Current driver's licence
- Minimum four years post-registration clinical experience
- At least two years' experience within the aged care sector
- Experience delivering education, coaching, mentoring or workplace-based training
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Passion for developing people and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Highly Regarded - Experience in a dedicated educator, clinical educator or learning and development role
- Experience developing learning resources and training programs
- Aged care-specific qualifications
- Experience facilitating learning for diverse audiences.
