About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join our Catering Team on a casual basis.
In this role, you will prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences, while contributing to a positive and enjoyable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in line with dietary requirements and menu plans
•  Ensure food safety standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established, monitored and maintained to meet current Food Concept guidelines
• Contribute to menu planning and continuous improvement
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation
• Support kitchen operations, including stock control and ordering
• Work collaboratively to ensure timely meal service

About you

• Previous experience as a Cook, minimum 1-2years in an aged care or residential setting
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (mandatory minimum)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Completed Food Safety Supervisor Course (desirable or willing to obtain)
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
