The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Lifestyle Officer to join our team. If you are passionate about a person-centred approach to care, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
The position is part-time, offering 40 hours per fortnight, worked on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
As a Lifestyle Officer, you will be at the heart of creating joy and connection, designing and delivering meaningful activities that bring smiles, laughter, and a sense of community. Every day is unique, allowing you to tailor programs to individual interests and care plans, while fostering a warm, inclusive environment that reflects Apollo Care’s commitment to holistic, resident-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individual and group leisure activities that cater to residents' needs, abilities, and interests
- Develop and maintain personalized lifestyle care plans
- Engage with residents and their families to create a sense of belonging and inclusion
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support the holistic well-being of residents
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Maintain secure and accurate care records
Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Lifestyle Officer and/or Aged Care
- Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy Qualification
- Certificate III in Aged Care (highly desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
