Our Home: Our Groundwater Lodge community is set in the heart of our well-preserved colonial architectural town of Maryborough. Our 60 bed home is divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home with vast communal areas where our residents can enjoy their own homestyle lounge, dining and kitchen areas with a private backyard for their established gardens and veggie patches.
 
The Role:

We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand/Food Services Assistant to join our caring team on a part time basis - 59h per fortnight. You'll help prepare and serve nutritious meals that bring comfort and joy to our residents, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with food preparation, plating, and meal service
• Support the chef with general kitchen and cleaning duties
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards are met
• Deliver exceptional dining service with a smile
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all kitchen areas

What You'll Bring:

• Food Handling Certificate
• Previous experience in food services or a similar role (Aged Care experience an advantage)
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• A caring attitude and commitment to quality service
• Current NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain) MANDATORY
