Situated just a short drive from the beautiful Bondi, Bronte and Tamarama beaches, Charingfield occupies a beautifully secluded position in the much-loved part of Sydney. It has excellent proximity to other familiar landmarks including Queens Park and Centennial Park and is close to cafés and shopping centres.

The Role

Our Support Services staff are integral to the wellbeing of our residents, delivering high-quality services. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Cleaning, & Laundry staff to join our team who are passionate about making a difference. More than just practical support, you will foster meaningful relationships that enhance each resident's daily life. Reporting to the Support Services Team Leader, the team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment. 

Duties Include

• Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areas
• Cleaning communal and dining areas
• Cleaning and sorting laundry
• Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use
• Adhering to infection control principles and WHS requirements, including the safe storage and use of chemicals, and completing cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
• Completing required documentation and reporting
• Providing ad hoc support to the broader team as required

What you will bring

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential
• Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
