Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for leading care teams and supporting older Australians to live with dignity and grace? The Bays Aged Care, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Manager to join our team.
About the Role: Reporting to the Residential Service Manager, our Care Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care. Reporting to the Residential Service Manager, you will guide and support our care team, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Apollo Care’s model of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the care team to deliver holistic, person-centred care.
- Oversee care planning, clinical governance, and resident assessments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Aged Care Act 1997.
- Promote resident choice, family engagement, and a strong sense of home.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and resident experience.
Our Home: The Bays Aged Care is a welcoming 90 bed community that’s beautifully designed to feel like home. The Bays Aged Care boasts warm and inviting dining and lounge areas, each with their own servery, gas log fire and terrace or courtyard to enjoy. Located in Hastings, our facility is a short walk to the beautiful foreshore, main shopping centre, library, banks, cafes, and parklands.
About You: - Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse, Care Coordinator, or Care Manager (with at least 2 years in aged care).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.
- A genuine commitment to supporting residents to live their way with dignity and grace.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate and Empathetic nature
