Role Summary: As a Lifestyle Team Leader you will be supporting residents to live well through emotional and physical support, develop care plans for residents, nurturing resident's hobbies and interests and manage leisure and lifestyle activities and conduct group activities. No two days are the same as you help bring smiles, laughter, and connection to those in our care. You'll tailor activities to suit individual interests and care plans, all while supporting a warm, inclusive environment that reflects Apollo Care's commitment to holistic, resident-centred care.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individual and group leisure activities that cater to residents' needs, abilities, and interests
• Develop and maintain personalized lifestyle care plans
• Engage with residents and their families to create a sense of belonging and inclusion
• Collaborate with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support the holistic well-being of residents
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Maintain secure and accurate care records

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lifestyle Officer in aged care.
• Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Similar
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and Empathy
• Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) - MANDATORY https://workerscreening.dsdsatsip.qld.gov.au/
• 2 years of experience in residential aged care (desirable)

Our Home: Our Groundwater Lodge community is set in the heart of our well-preserved colonial architectural town of Maryborough. Our 60-bed home is divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home with vast communal areas where our residents can enjoy their own homestyle lounge, dining and kitchen areas with a private backyard for their established gardens and veggie patches.
