This role offers a full-time fixed-term contract for three months, with the opportunity to continue with us in an ongoing part-time or casual capacity after that.

The Role: As our Cook, you’ll play a vital role in the daily lives of our residents by preparing meals that are both nutritious and delicious. More than just food preparation, you’ll have the chance to engage with residents, understand their preferences, and deliver meals that make them feel cared for.
Your key responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve appetising, nutritious meals tailored to residents’ needs.
- Engage with residents to learn their preferences and create meals that brighten their day.
- Contribute to menu planning in line with dietary guidelines for older adults.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and aged care standards.
- Manage special diets and texture-modified meals with care and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with our catering team to deliver high-quality service.
- Monitor food costs and support budget-friendly catering solutions.

What you’ll bring: - Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
- Current NDIS Check or Willingness to Obtain
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine love of cooking for others.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hospitality or Aged Care catering experience (highly regarded).
- Understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Standards, and Outcomes (desirable).
- Valid working rights in Australia – mandatory.
