Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that enhance the well-being of older Australians? Bundaleer, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is seeking a Chef/Catering Manager to lead our kitchen team and provide an exceptional dining experience for our residents.

About the Role:

As the Chef/Catering Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the catering team to ensure high standards in food preparation and service.
• Creating seasonal, nutritious, and appetising menus that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, food safety regulations, and HACCP requirements.
• Engaging with residents to understand their meal preferences and continuously enhance their dining experience.
• Managing kitchen operations, budgets, and staff training to maintain efficiency and quality.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and a Food Safety Certificate (mandatory).
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar catering or chef role.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of aged care dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets and food-based supplementation.
• A passion for providing high-quality meals that contribute to a homely and enjoyable dining environment.
• Hold a current NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
