A typical day in this role involves
Adhering to Health & Safety practices and ensuring that I operate a safe working environment for L&H
Accurately picking, packing and dispatching of all customer & branch orders
Receiving stock and ensuring its checked against delivery advice, receipted and stored correctly
Accurately moving inventory using available technology
Completing inventory, cyclic counts and participating in stocktakes
Releasing and invoicing orders
Ensuring that the warehouse housekeeping is maintained at the highest possible standards
Ensuring cable cutting (only if trained) is accurate and there is minimal wastage of cable.
How can I tell if this is for me?
A strong eye for detail
Experience in a warehouse
You will be organised, with a can-do attitude
Forklift Licence
You have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Product knowledge and experience in the electrical, industrial or safety markets is desirable, but not essential
