About The Role
Experienced Medical Secretaries will understand that their role is so much more than just administration. Attention to detail, discretion, empathy, organisation and top notch communication skills are needed when dealing with practitioners and patients in consulting suites.    

 Your day in this role will include: 

• Liaison with patients, showing empathy, care and discretion at all times representing your healthcare brand as an ambassador
• Managing diaries and communications for multiple doctor's including appointment setting, handling phone calls and queries, attending to email requests, greeting & attending to visitors to the clinic etc.
• Managing patient records utilising specialist medical software systems
• Multi-tasking as you liaise with multiple stakeholders including health practitioners, doctors, nurses, psychologists, administrators, clinical and non-clinical staff

Successful candidates will possess: 

• Experience with Patient Management Systems ideally Zedmed or something similar such as 
• A background working as a Medical Secretary or Receptionist 
• Understanding of a specialist practice setting would be ideal
• Attention to detail that is second to none
• Medical Terminology would help you excel - but not essential
• Computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of Programs
• A National Police check
