We have a very exciting opportunity in one of our clients for a General Manager to join a winning team located in Fyshwick. This true General Manager role will see you responsible for profit, growth and leadership in a progressive services based business with well established clients in Canberra. You will be a strong people leader, adept in balancing fiscal management in a dynamic 24/7 business. With all the functions you would expect being HR & EHS, Commercial Finance, Operations, Client Services and Support functions you will enjoy working with a “real” team that are highly accountable and who are an enviable award-winning market leader.

You will be an experienced people leader, work well in a matrix structure with strong influence, reap benefits associated with a clear communication and bring your experience from facilities management, labour hire, aviation, health, security, retail or a working with a large workforce.
You will:
- Lead the ACT operations inclusive of sales growth & and implementing new clients
- Develop and execute plans to deliver revenue, growth and profit targets
- Maintain and further develop executive sponsorship within key clients
- Ensure service levels are achieved/over-achieved within agreed SLA’s
- Manage transformation plans to deliver on business process improvement
- Have strong experience in maximising labour utilisation
- Work with leadership and their teams in driving growth plans, with an appreciation of diversity equity & inclusion and ongoing training requirements to achieve increased capability and individual growth for team members
- Be strong in employee relations and simplifying the complexity, reducing incidents and promoting wellness initiatives
- Provide all employees a safe workplace
- Be a well-connected professional with deep relationships in the Australian federal government and a proven track record of working with government-affiliated companies
- Bring experience in managing legislative compliance in a highly regulated industry including involvement in pivotal Government relations.
