THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a fast-growing biotech company redefining drug development.  They are an ASX-listed mid-cap with global clinical trials underway and as they continue to expand, we are seeking a Global Head of Operations to oversee and manage the day-to-day operational functions of the company, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.

This role is integral to their leadership team, providing strategic direction and ensuring their projects, manufacturing, supply chain, and compliance functions operate seamlessly. You will play a key role in project management, investor relations, and cross-functional collaboration, driving the success of their innovative therapies.

• Operational Leadership & Project Management
  Oversee company operations, ensuring effective project management principles are used to plan, implement, and deliver key business objectives on time.
• Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management
  Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and key stakeholders, effectively communicating company performance and strategy.
• Strategic Planning & Execution
  Partner with CEO, CFO, and CMO to establish company-wide goals and lead the development of strategic initiatives that drive growth and operational excellence.
• Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement
  Establish KPIs and operational metrics to measure progress, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance
  Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and best practices, driving continuous improvement in quality and operational workflows.
• Team Leadership & Development
  Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

You are a senior executive with a proven track record in biopharmaceutical operations, ideally within ASX-listed companies. You thrive in a dynamic, virtual global operating environment, seamlessly leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. Your experience spans scaling operations, managing investor expectations, and driving commercial and clinical success in a fast-moving biotech landscape.

You bring:

• Extensive experience in biopharmaceutical operations, preferably within an ASX-listed company
• A deep understanding of capital markets, investor relations, and financial reporting in a public company environment
• Proven success in leading complex, global operations, navigating regulatory landscapes, and scaling businesses effectively
• Strong background in project management and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring clinical and operational milestones are met
• Experience operating within a virtual, globally dispersed workforce, optimising resources and driving efficiency
• A strategic mindset with sharp commercial acumen, ensuring alignment between operational execution and long-term business objectives
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation
