Are you an experienced Senior HSE Advisor or HSE Manager looking for greater ownership, national exposure and the opportunity to develop your leadership career?

We're recruiting a National HSE Manager for an established organisation operating across Australia.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who knows how to translate safety systems into practical outcomes, enjoys working closely with operational teams and is ready to take on broader responsibility.

You'll join a business with mature HSE systems, long-standing ISO accreditation and an experienced Head of Safety & Compliance to support you. You won't need to reinvent the wheel - you'll help make it work even better.


The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Safety & Compliance, you'll help drive safety performance across a large, geographically dispersed frontline workforce.

You'll work closely with operational leaders, support one HSE Advisor and play a key role in strengthening safety practices across multiple locations.

This isn't a desk-bound compliance role. You'll regularly visit operational sites, engage with frontline teams and help managers find practical solutions to real-world safety challenges.

Your focus will include:

• Driving consistent HSE practices across national operations.
• Partnering with operational leaders to improve safety performance and risk management.
• Managing incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting injury management, workers' compensation and return-to-work outcomes.
• Strengthening ISO-aligned management systems, audit readiness and compliance.
• Managing operational risks, including vehicle safety, lone working and psychosocial hazards.
• Coaching and supporting an HSE Advisor while building safety capability across the business.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in hearing from Senior HSE Advisors ready to progress into management, as well as HSE Managers seeking broader operational responsibility.

You'll bring:

• Strong hands-on HSE experience across multiple sites or a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Practical experience with ISO 45001-aligned safety management systems.
• Sound capability in incident investigation, injury management, workers' compensation and return to work.
• Confidence influencing operational managers and engaging with frontline employees.
• A pragmatic, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to safety.
• Relevant WHS qualifications, ideally a degree or diploma supported by substantial experience.

Experience in facilities management, logistics, transport, security, retail, local government or other frontline operational environments will be highly regarded.

You don't need to have held a national title before. What matters is your ability to take ownership, work independently and influence safety outcomes across a complex operation.
